Meet our Team
Nick Fouts
Co-Founder & Executive Director
In 2010, Renee and I co-founded Cedar Rock with a shared passion to offer unhurried, authentic presence to people. Since then, retreats have been the primary expression of this calling—spaces where we can slow down and open our inner being to deeper connection with God, ourselves, and one another.
I find great joy in partnering with the Spirit of Jesus in this journey of becoming more fully alive and whole. I love being married to Renee, being the father of four amazing adult children, and, in general, delighting in people. Living near the mountains is a gift, where Renee and I often enjoy hiking and biking together—simple, sacred moments that continually renew our souls.
My ministry experience includes 10 years in Uganda on a mission team followed by three years as a church small-group minister. I have an MS degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. And I’m an LPC in Arkansas and Colorado, currently living in Colorado Springs. You can connect with me at nick@cedarrockministries.com.

Renee Fouts
Co-Founder & Retreat Leader
Cedar Rock was born out of a deep passion to be present with people. I am endlessly fascinated by the complexity and beauty of humanity and find joy in knowing others more deeply through curiosity, compassion, and attentive presence.
As a certified spiritual director and retreat facilitator, my husband and I have the privilege of accompanying others as they explore their inner being in our presence. I am happily married to Nick and grateful to be the mother of four wonderful adult children who continue to teach me about love, growth, and joy.
My happiest places are found in nature—walking beneath trees, hiking new paths, or biking through the open air. I also love creating warm, welcoming spaces where authentic connection can unfold, where conversation flows freely, and delicious food is shared. My email is renee@cedarrockministries.com if you’d like to connect.

April Wingfield
Director of Finance & Administration
I joined the Cedar Rock team in 2020 after experiencing firsthand the power of this retreat ministry. In my current role I serve as the Director of Finance and Administration, ensuring things are running smoothly behind the scenes with bookkeeping, budgeting, and managing the applications that support our work.
In addition to that, I coordinate retreats, ensuring guests are prepared for their time away and all of the details leading up to each retreat are handled with excellence. I also keep an eye on the big picture of our outward-facing communications with the Cedar Rock Community, our supporters, friends, and partners in ministry.
I live in Little Rock with my husband and twin teenage daughters. We love traveling, family time outdoors, and our pets. You’ll often find me creating in the kitchen, curating spaces for meaningful gatherings, or in deep conversation with a beloved friend. Reach out to me anytime at april@cedarrockministries.com.

Cheryl Weaver
Spiritual Director & Women’s Ministry Leader
I have spent the last decade of my life integrating somatic and spiritual practices in my own spiritual formation journey, and I am passionate about a holistic approach to soul care and overall wellbeing. After completing my spiritual direction certification from Fall Creek Abbey in 2023, I officially joined this team in January of 2024.
I offer spiritual direction and facilitate groups where others are invited to explore the ways they are loved and uniquely created in God’s image. It is an honor to prayerfully create spaces for others to rest and to cultivate an awareness of God’s presence.
I graduated from Harding University with a BA in Education in 1992 and have considered Searcy, Arkansas my home for most of my adult life. My husband Tim and I are feeling blessed to grow old together as we travel, tend to our empty nest, and enjoy our three married adult children and four grandchildren–who know me as “Sunny.” I am most alive when I am collaborating with others, acknowledging the goodness of God in nature and art, and when I am able to witness another receive a revelation of God’s love. You can reach me at cheryl@cedarrockministries.com

Harrison Dell
Assistant Director
I officially joined the Cedar Rock team in early 2023. My background is ministry both with senior citizens and with teenagers. I graduated Harding University back in 2011 with a Bible degree and later received an MACM (Masters of Arts in Christian Ministries) from Harding School of Theology.
I am so proud to be married to my wife Kelly, and we have 3 sweet kiddos: Marlow, Oakley, and Quentin. We moved to Conway, AR right around the same time I started this work with Cedar Rock.
I help raise money for the ministry, and I run a lot of our daily operations as the team Integrator. From time to time, God still gives me pastoral opportunities to help facilitate a men’s retreat or preach/teach at a local church, and those are very nourishing to my soul. My wife and I have been transformed by our experiences with Cedar Rock. The longer I’m here, the more I meet others who have been deeply impacted as well.
